The episode titled 'The One Where Joey Loses His Insurance' portrays Joey auditioning in front of Maggie, who plays the casting director.
In the episode, Joey has lost his healthcare insurance and is desperate for the role, hoping he could use the money to afford medical care to treat his hernia
Joey's character, played by Matt LeBlanc, struggles during the audition due to the painful hernia and is rejected by Maggie.
The episode aired in 1999, a couple of years before her Grammy-winning daughter was born.
The resurfaced 'FRIENDS' clip with Maggie's cameo sparked discussions online, with some labeling Billie as a 'nepo baby.'
“So Billie may in fact be an industry plant,” one said, while another asked, “So Billie is a Nepo Baby?”
Billie's brother, Finneas, defended her, stating, "none of you had any idea at all who she was."
